Ghost shoes and bikes Quebec is an organization that installs memorials where a pedestrian or cyclist have been fatally struck in a road accident.  The memorial consists of a painted white bicycle or pair of shoes to commemorate a tragic loss of life, remind drivers to share the road responsibly and hold governments to enact safe measures for vulnerable users.
